Two B.S. degrees are offered in the Aviation Technology program — professional pilot for fixed wing and rotorcraft (helicopters), and maintenance management.
Professional Pilot students must choose an emphasis: fixed wing or rotorcraft. These students receive Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certifications and are trained to become commercial pilots. All pilot students will take core classes in weather, aviation law, and human factors in safety.
